Objective
Develop an unofficial campaign concept that reinforces Oakley’s position as a performance eyewear brand through outdoor storytelling.
Insight
Consumers are increasingly drawn to brands that feel authentic and experience driven rather than highly staged advertisements. Travel imagery creates a stronger emotional connection while naturally communicating performance, adventure and exploration.
Creative Direction
I positioned Oakley eyewear within dramatic natural landscapes to highlight exploration, freedom and discovery. This approach encourages the audience to focus on the product while connecting it with memorable travel experiences and authentic moments.
Outcome
The final campaign demonstrates how user generated style imagery can be elevated into premium brand communication while maintaining a genuine and authentic feel. The imagery reflects Oakley’s adventurous identity without losing the realism of the original experience.
Target Audience
Adults aged 18 to 30 with an interest in outdoor activities, travel, sport and performance fashion. They value products that combine functionality with style and support an active lifestyle.
Concept
See What Matters
See What Matters suggests that adventure is not only about where you go but how you experience it. Oakley becomes part of those moments by enhancing the way the world is seen, reinforcing the brand’s focus on performance, clarity and exploration.
Reflection
This project strengthened my understanding of translating a brand’s identity into a visual campaign using original photography rather than stock imagery. It also developed my confidence in planning, capturing and art directing my own content, allowing me to create a campaign that feels both authentic and aligned with Oakley’s visual identity.
