The Concept
An independently developed editorial concept exploring how fashion, travel and lifestyle can be brought together through visual storytelling. Inspired by Harper's Bazaar's editorial style, "Take the Scenic Route" was built around the idea of slowing down and experiencing the places around you. I wanted content that still felt fashion-focused while connecting with the wider interests and lifestyle of the audience.
One Story, Three Covers
The series uses consistent styling, imagery and messaging to build a recognisable visual story across multiple covers. All three share the same masthead treatment, the cover line "Take the Scenic Route" and sub-line "Taking time to get lost is never a waste," and a Summer 2027 cover date, shot in the same misted, tropical garden setting in a white tiered dress and head-wrap. It is a way of showing how editorial content can communicate a publication's identity beyond just the clothes being featured. I am treating the three images as design variants of one concept rather than three separate stories.
